Private ride for seniors in Lakewood Ranch with professional driver at airport

Most of what fills a week is not difficult. It is the pharmacy, the dry cleaner, the appointment that needs someone to wait through it, the contractor who will only confirm by phone between nine and five. None of it is difficult, but all of it eats into your day.

That is what I do in Lakewood Ranch. I take the running around off your calendar so the day belongs to you again.

What a concierge is, in practice

The word still makes people picture a hotel desk. In practice it is much plainer than that: one person who knows your household and handles the errands, the appointments and the coordination on your behalf.

If you want the longer version, I wrote one: what a concierge service actually is. The short version is that it is not a luxury so much as a way of buying back hours.

The things people actually ask for

Errands and the standing weekly list

Groceries, the pharmacy, the post office, returns nobody got round to. Most clients start with a one-off and end up with a fixed day each week, because a list that repeats is easier to hand over than to keep rewriting.

Appointments, including the waiting

A medical appointment is rarely just the appointment. It is the drive there, an unpredictable wait, and the drive back at a time nobody can predict in advance.

I stay for it. That is usually the part that makes the difference, especially for a family member who no longer drives and would rather not be collected by a stranger each time.

Coordinating the people who come to the house

Someone has to let the technician in, be there for the delivery window, check the work was actually done. If you are at the office or out of state, that person has to be somebody.

I can also coordinate the cleaning when that is easier for you, whether it is regular house cleaning or a clean between guests.

Getting there

Transportation can be part of concierge service, but it can also be booked on its own. An errand run needs a car. An appointment needs a ride each way. A flight needs someone at the door at an hour when a rideshare is a gamble.

So the same booking can cover the airport transfer and the stop on the way home, and it is one arrangement instead of two. If a straight airport run is all you need, that is its own service and it is priced as one.

Who ends up using it

Three groups, mostly.

Households where both people work. Nothing is going wrong. There is simply no weekday hour in which the errands can happen.

Families supporting a parent nearby. Often the person arranging it does not live in Florida, and what they are buying is not the errand but knowing someone reliable is going.

Seasonal residents. The house needs checking while it is empty, and stocking before anyone lands.

How it works

You message me the request. I tell you whether I can do it, when, and what it costs, before anything is booked.

Nothing here needs a membership or a monthly minimum. One errand is a fine place to start, and most people find out from that first one whether handing things over suits them.

Where it does suit them, it usually becomes a standing day, which is when it stops being a service you call and starts being one less thing to think about.

One person, and why that matters

This is not an agency dispatching whoever is free. It is me, which means the same person each time, and after a few weeks I know which pharmacy you prefer and which door the cleaner should use.

It also means I take on a limited number of households at a time. That is the honest trade.

Frequently asked

Can I book one errand, or does it have to be regular?

One is fine, and it is how most people start. There is no membership and no minimum.

Do you wait during appointments?

Yes, and it is one of the most common requests. Tell me roughly how long you expect it to run so I can hold the time.

Is airport transportation part of this, or separate?

Either. It can sit inside a concierge booking alongside the other stops that day, or you can book a straight airport transfer on its own.

Can you arrange the cleaning as well?

Yes. House cleaning is one of the things I coordinate for clients, for a home that is lived in or one that needs to be ready before the next arrival.

Which areas do you cover?

Lakewood Ranch and the surrounding Sarasota and Bradenton area. If you are just outside it, ask, because it often still works.

How do I start?

Send me the request and what day you had in mind. You get the price before anything is confirmed. Get in touch here.
